Emergency Action In Controlling & Prevention of Fire Involving LPG

The difficulties of controlling a fire involving LPG cannot be overstated. Prevention, however, can be easily achieved, which is why LPG is used as a safe and valuable heating source in millions of homes across Europe.

To minimise the possibility of outbreak of fire, it is of key importance to provide good plant design and layout, ensure sound engineering and good operating practice, and provide proper instruction and training of personnel in routine operations and actions to be taken in an emergency.
